This 120,000 sq ft food store included an 8 pump petrol filling station. The store is clad in red brickwork to reflect adjacent Victorian mills, and includes extensive retaining structures to accommodate a sloping site, with stepped and ramped access.

This historic site contained a number of air-raid shelters that were recorded prior to removal. An art feature is incorporated into the site layout in reminiscence of past Industrial uses.
