Regeneration proposals for the Alton Station area recently went to a Special Planning Commitee. The scheme includes a new modern stilted foodstore development providing attractive street frontage to the approach to the railway station. In addition, the comprehensive development includes a new station cafe, Industrial / starter units and improved vehicular and pedestrian routes to the development and stationitself.
