Project Description

Orient House

Orient House involved the full refurbishment and part re-building of an historic three storey Mill building and it's conversion to flats.

The Mill had been derelict for many years and whilst the external structure was basically sound, much of the soft fabric had deteriorated, requiring the replacement of floors and roofs throughout.

The essential "streetscape" character of the building was retained by the use of new multi-pane steel windows to match the original. The size of those windows created a stunning feature within the new flats.
